Hey! I’m Morgan Lamont, the owner of both Neighborhood Barre locations in the Durham area. I was born and raised right here in the Bull City, so you can imagine it is very exciting for me to continue to pour into our community. What started as my favorite place to take class has now turned into my dream. I joined Neighborhood barre as a founding member in 2022, and quickly decided to become an instructor. With a strong leader at the helm to guide me, I became the studio manager and lead instructor, taking over the original Durham location as owner in February 2026. I’m honored to carry this strong community forward with a second location in Downtown Durham. My focus has been and will remain keeping the NEIGHBORHOOD feel. Making sure everyone who walks through our doors feels strong, supported and at home. My team and I work hard to include everyBODY, making this form of movement accessible for everyone. If you come take a class with me, expect a high energy and fun class that can meet you where you are that day. Showing up is the hardest part! I can’t wait to shake with you at the barre! 💜💚
