NEIGHBORHOOD barre Durham has proudly been changing the Bull City one tuck at a time since January 2022. Located conveniently in South Durham, nb Durham was voted BEST new business in 2022 AND BEST Yoga/Pilates/Barre Center in Durham in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Because we offer class formats ranging from low-impact traditional barre to high-intensity cardio to STRENGTH building, we are your true one-stop-shop for all things fitness in the Triangle. It can definitely be nerve wracking to try something new, but we’re here to encourage you through your first class (it’s just $10!) and beyond.
We teach all classes to ALL fitness levels so that whether it’s your first time, or your 500th, we meet you where you are with modifications and advancements — providing progressive barre and powerful results.
Whether you’re curious about barre, a fitness fanatic, new to working out or anything in between, NEIGHBORHOOD barre Durham has classes just for you! We provide all of your equipment! Feel free to bring water (we have refilling stations) and a small towel if you prefer. Grip socks are not required, but are available in the studio if you’d like to purchase some.
To avoid a $10 late cancellation fee, please cancel at least two hours prior to the start of class. For 5:45, 6 and 7 a.m. classes, please cancel at least eight hours prior to the start of class. A $20 fee is charged for no-show reservations.
The studio is located in the Woodcroft Shopping Center in Suite 6B between the Pub and Chubby’s Tacos. It is only five minutes from Southpoint Mall, 10 minutes from UNC Chapel Hill, 12 minutes from Duke and 15 minutes from Downtown Durham.

Hi, I’m Savannah! And I can’t wait to meet you at NEIGHBORHOOD barre Durham. I first found NB at the flagship studio in Knoxville, TN in 2015. I’ve been hooked ever since! I love the challenge and community that NEIGHBORHOOD barre brings. I began instructing at the NB Maryville studio in June 2020, and I cherish the relationships I made with clients (who became friends) there! When you take a class from me, you get a TON of energy, bomb music, a few jokes, and encouragement to continue to crush your goals and leave your worries on the mat. We can do hard things – especially when we do them together. And I’m STOKED to bring NB to Bull City. Cheers!
